Ambar
Alpha Valorem invested in Ambar in 2013, when there was only one idea on paper sheet and a talented entrepreneur who met Alpha partners through Endeavor Brasil. The company started its operations with a strong vision of governance from the first day of operation.
During the first years, the active participation and experience of Alpha Valorem's partners in the company's board was essential in the strategic and commercial definitions of the approach to customers.
Alpha Valorem's investment was liquidated in 2020 with high return.
Today Ambar is the largest ConstruTech in Latin America, has 550 employees and has installed its solutions in over 1,000 construction sites in 8 countries.
CRDC
The difficulty of accessing credit historically experienced by SMBs in Brazil inspired the creation of CRDC in 2015. In the search for possible solutions, we identified a business opportunity that, while providing superior returns, would contribute to the transformation of this status.
Supported by the principle that the perception of the quality of assets traded on the market downgrades in the presence of information asymmetry, we started with a greenfield with the mission of promoting more transparency and efficiency to market credit operations, primarily involving trade receivables.
Therefore, CRDC was conceived, a SaaS technological platform enabled to constitute electronic trade receivables with control over the trade that gave rise to it, its ownership, and its uniqueness, whose legally based process served as a reference for updating the legal framework involving this credit title, thus improving the environment national credit.
CRDC obtained authorization from the Brazilian Central Bank to operate a financial asset registration system (Trade Repository - TR), positioning it as an integral part of the Financial Market Infrastructure (IMF) within the scope of the Brazilian Payments System.
By the end of 2020, when we successfully completed our investment cycle in the company, CRDC had processed more than BRL 95 billion in credit operations, had over 400,000 companies and more than 1,000 credit vehicles in its customer base.
FinEdu
FinEdu tech deeply understands the reality of private schools in Brazil, because of years of professional dedication to the educational segment.
The process of automating the administrative processes of many schools is in the construction stage, which, therefore, still experience significant absorption of resources in bureaucratic and repetitive activities, while they lack adequate credit lines to their reality, which implies high financial costs, net worth pledge and cash shortage at times of the year when there is a greater concentration of disbursements.
In view of this, FinEdu tech offers a SaaS technological platform, fully integrable with management systems, which digitizes the formal link between the school and the parents or guardians of the students; streamlines the school's connection with the Brazilian Payment System and provides credit lines appropriate to the reality of the sector, supplied by the first Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC) specialized in educational institutions.
